frankenkitty (1798), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Feb 15, 2008 Poured a hazy mahogany under a large, foamy ecru head which falls slow and laces thick. Aroma found a boatload of caramel above a grainy base with additional mild florals and herbs. Mid-bodied with a flavor of chocolates and caramels, a touch of chalkiness and a bitterness in the finish.

Orland Park Cornfield (4332), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Mar 23, 2007 This was my favorite at the new Rock bottom. The body’s a reddish chestnut in color and it’s capped with a small short-lived head. It smells of old caramel, a bit of toffee, a squirt of butterscotch, and a woody like bitterness. Light roasted malt and subdued juicy fruit are blended into the flavor. The finish was rather abrupt. Overall, a decent, warming ale. Rock Bottom Orland Park, Orland Park, IL
