Tried this on the recommendation of Flssmrbrewalum and was pleasantly surprised. Pours hazy yellow with orange tint and small fizzy white. Aroma is spices, yeast, orange citrus, coriander, and some wheat. Flavor is orange citrus, bready yeast, spices, and bit of tartness. Usually find wit beers a little meh, but this one really good. Could of had a few glasses.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Cornfield (5276) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - JUL 24, 2009
On tap at the brewpub: This poured a very cloudy dark straw body with a foamy head and a bunch of lace. The aroma was spicy with coriander, fruity with tart oranges, and bready with, well, wheat bread. The flavor adds a lemony tartness, stronger spices, and a light grassy, citrus rind bitterness. Very tasty, refreshing rendition of the style by Mr. Wilson.

Mug club draft poured on tap at the brewpub (Orland Park, IL). Pours an opaque glowing orange yellow hue, fairly big white head that dies to a decent layer and laces fair enough. Aromas are coriander, light orange juice, grass, flaked wheat, and a touch of faint spicy character. Not bad. Initial is fairly decent bod, light bitterness moves to coriander, flaked wheat grainy sweetness with the residual slight sourness. The backend takes a turn for lemon over orange, but the orange is still there. Very realistic skin and peel zest feel. Faint ginger, light tartness/acidic bite towards the finish. This Wit certainly finishes with a little "Oomph"! Genuine citrus fruits and rind. This isn’t bad at all. I prefer a nice peppery wit but this bad boy surprised me. Very nice offering, tart bite very well appreciated.
