Draft. Pours near black with a beige head. Roasty aroma with some blegian yeasty notes. The flavor is pretty well balanced with roasty malts on the one side and fruity/spicy belgian yeasty notes on the other. Pretty good.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a black color with a large beige head that lingered and produced good lacing. The aroma was sweetish and toasty with notes of cocoa and cherry. The flavor was malted milk, vanilla, light cherry, yeast and touches of sugar and licorice. The finish was long and malty with malted milk and vanilla lingering. Moderately full bodied. Interesting.
