cheapdark (1547), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 3, 2007 A little malty and perfumy on the olfactory. Comes across aromatic at times. Cloudy off yellow brownish color. Very thin head. Has earthy tones in the taste and is surprisingly not too bitter as explained in the description. Has a taste that rivals the better smooth scottish ales. It is even the same color as many scottish ales I’ve tasted. Mild creamy carbonation. Friendly and well balanced. If I didn’t know the name of this I would have considered it a scottish ale. Easy to like and easy to repeat!
