Jul 3, 2008 On tap at Horse Brass--Poured a clear straw body with a tiny white head. Nose of cereal grains and mild citrus. Medium bodied, light, crisp, slightly floral. Sweet and finished mildly dry. Very nice!

Aug 10, 2005 On tap at Portland location.Clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of grain and some lemon. Flavor also has notes of grain, citrus/lemon and then an unexpected presence of caramel and floral hops. Finish is pretty hoppy for a kolsch. Medium body with subtle carbonation. Not bad.

Jul 22, 2005 Bright yellow color and clear. Fresh tasting but still a little on the our side. Grainy and punchy, dry I guess. Soda-like texture with a little crisp bite but it’s too grainy. Lager-like and plain.

Jun 15, 2004 Tap@Rock Bottom, Portland. This was a pretty bad kolsch, pretty much no flavour except some slight melony flavours at the start. Really grainy, thin and light.
