Flavorful and complex, our Red Ale is copper in color and medium-bodied with a rich malt profile. Crystal hops lend a robust, fruity hop character for balance.

On tap at the Richmond Short Pump location. Perfectly acceptable amber. Medium amber, slight head, clear. Aroma of caramel malts and slight citric hops. Flavor matched, but perhaps with more hops than expected, a good thing. Not bad, just boring.

Drought@rock bottom brewery, Chicago: very nice red color, basically no head. Some herbal note I can't define but weak smell. Also taste is quite week. Well balanced bitterness after a sweet start.

Solid taste but nothing special. Aroma was lacking. The after taste goes well especially with a burger or any other smokey food. But overall a decent brew

[Tap] Light amber colored pour without much head. Bready malts and mild hops in the nose. The taste is of caramel, toffee, nut, grains and mild hops. Light to medium body. Sweet finish. Nothing wrong with this.

Draft at Rock Bottom-Cincinnati. Pours a mostly clear amber color - not really red - with a small off-white head that leaves some streaks of lace. Notes of amber and caramel and toasty malts, grassy hops, and a little earth. Very simple. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a malty mouthfeel. Decent amber.

on tap @ Rock Bottom / Cincinnati OH --- Clear medium red amber with a thick rim head, streaks of lace. Solid aroma of malt and hops. Taste opens with strong caramel malt infused with a little sweet apple. It grows noticeably through the palate, adding effervescence. Hops show up late, but only enough to bring things to a nice balance. A very drinkable beer, especially over a long evening.
