Dogbrick (2266), Columbus, Ohio, USA Aug 31, 2008 On draught at the San Diego location. This beer pours a dark orange-amber color with a thin and fizzy off-white head that burns away quickly. Spotty lacing. Medium body with mildly bitter hops flavors, with malty undertones. Notes of citrus here and there as well. The finish is lightly hopped with a vague spiced and citrusy aftertaste. Just average overall. big_bish (115), USA Jul 16, 2006 Blah. Kind of thin, very little flavor. Not much depth to the hops. Slightly malty but nothing memerable. I’d drink it but there are way better beers out there. Sledge Jr (2720), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Jun 26, 2006 On tap at the San Diego brewpub. Pours reddish amber with a weak white head. Mild carbonation. Weak flavor and body. Almost no aroma. Medium hop flavor. Served ICE cold, but where’s the FIRE? I don’t see how such a lousy beer can even be offered in this beer town. BückDich (4559), Boise, Idaho, USA Feb 28, 2006 Draft: Brown color, nose of light grassy hops and caramel. The flavor doesn’t wind up as well and comes across too bitter with a light body and a watery finish. Just doesn’t really do it for me. bu11zeye (3780), Frisco, Texas, USA Feb 17, 2006 (Draught) Pours a clear amber body with a moderate off-white head. Aroma of pine, mint, and lemon. Flavor of hops, caramel, and maybe a hint of cinnamon.
