On tap from a while back. Orangeish color with a off white head. Aroma was very sweet; bubblegum and yeast, but not much balance. Flavor was very sweet, although the alcohol was not too present. Some wheat, fruit, and banana/gum as well. Solid beer, but a bit one dimensional.

spicy yeast, fruit, peppery aroma. Appearance is almost a cloudy pink/brown, minimal head. Yeasty palate, some alcohol. Sweet finish. Reminded me of Unibroue. My favourite of their line up.

Ctirusy and flowery on the nose w/ hints of light fruit and spice. This beer poured a cloudt brown color w/ golden orange highlights, almost no head and no lacing. The flavor was spicy like coriander and light fruit w/ slight hop and citrus notes. The mouthfeel had minor effervescence and a light body.

Tasted at the 2004 Pizza Port Strong Ale Fest. Medium orange color, slightly cloudy. Large sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and sweet. Mostly apricots and peaches. Medium bodied Belgian Strong Ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Nice bright yeasts. Very sweet. Lots of fruit esters. Lots of banana and clove flavors. Nice and smooth. Might have been a little young yet, sort of a chaotic mix of ester, carbonation and yeasts. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

This beer was had on tap at the San Diego Strong Ale Festival 2004. This beer pours a cloudy dark orange color iwth hints of yellows and reds as well and a thin white head which quickly dissipated and left little head. Swirling led to pretty much slight lacing, but nothing all that interesting. The aroma is belgiany with spices, yeasts and lemons being predominant. It was pretty damn cold by now as this was my last sample of the night and it was only 48F out, so warming the beer was very difficult. As it warmed some cloves and lemon yeast became very apparent as it twirled to a tart and fruity finish. Some oranges, apricot, orange peel and lemon in the finish. Not much presence of alcohol, but if you looked closely enough it was there. Full of carbonation here..almost too much so. Would someone PLEASE put this beer away for a while and let it age. This beer needs to calm down a WHOLE bunch, but its got the makings of a nice solid Belgian Strong Ale.

On tap @ the San Diego Strong Ale Fest. Poured a dark cloudy/hazy/murky amber/orange color with a white head. Aromas and tastes of spices (cloves and pepper) and somewhat fruity. A decent Belgian Strong ale.
