Draft sampler at the brewpub. Poured a clear straw color with a medium white head that diminished slowly with minimal lacing. Light hoppy citrus aroma. Light body with a watery texture. Light citrus flavor with a soft short finish. Wet cold alcohol with some character.

The appearance was quite impressive. Great lacing and amazing while head that was fully diminishing. The Pelican Light was clear and light yellow in body. It wasn’t very aromatic, but did have hints of yeast. Initially acidic moving into light bitter for a short duration. Light body with soft carbonation and watery on the palate. This wasn’t an impressive selection, it’s obvious that they serve this beer to their bud light drinkers in mass quantity.
At the end of the 8 beer sampler, there wasn’t a single beer that Sean wanted to drink a pint of. It was quite depressing.

Yellow, watery. More expensive than Bud, but not necessarily better. A slight head with a malty body. Only give to people who hate beer or who you don’t like.

Hey, my girl and I made our way into the Rock Bottom Cafe in the Gaslamp District of San Diego and I had only been once so I forgot that they didn’t have her fave-bud light, this stuff was close but man, damn after two pitchers we woke up feeling like someone had kicked us in the head over and over! This stuff was ridiculous! Never again I tell ya!!!

Draught sampler. Pale yellow colour. Light nose with a hint of grassy hops. Mild flavour - fairly sweet, with some Saaz-y hops in the finish. OK enough for a light lager, but nothing I’d drink a lot of.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Stew41 (1572) - Woodend, AUSTRALIA - MAY 30, 2005
Pours a light pale gold. Seemingly well made but like the majority of light beers lacks weight and true flavour definition. Good enough for what it is.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - APR 12, 2005
On tap at the brewpub. Pale yellow with a white head and OK lace. Faint grassy and corn aroma. The flavor here is subtle. Crisp lager with mildly discernable liberty hops. The finish is rather metallic.
