(Draft: Rock Bottom in San Diego, CA) Tastes pretty much like a straight amber, but the toasty flavor is the highlight of this beer; Somewhat sweet, perhaps a little on the sugery side, but not unpleasant or cloying; Hops is mild throughout and minimally bitter; The flavor remains consistent from start to finish, so the finish has a nice toasty flavor; The Nose is lightly malty and sweet; The color is coppery amber; Off white hea has mediocre retention and fades to a small rim fairly quickly, but does leave a meager amount of lacing
