3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sample at the brewpub. Pours a hazy orange color with a medium white head that dissipates slowly. Patchy lacing on the glass. The aroma is hoppy with some roast malt in the background. Medium-bodied with flavors of citrusy hops, earthy malt and a touch of herbs. The finish is hoppy with a grapefruit aftertaste. Above average overall.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, solid hoppy and citrusy. SOlid hoppy, peachy, grapefruity and citrusy. Bitter, light fruity impression but actually bone dry and bitter into the finish.

Decent IPA, although not sure itís truly a íhop bombí. Pours honey orange with some off-white clings. Lots of citrus in the nose. Grapefruit taste with a bitter but balanced finish.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nice juicy grapefruit nose with hints of floral hops and earth as well. Pale grains underneath add a biscuity/crackery malt notes as well. Hazy light golden pour, soapy thin head. The flavor is mostly juicy hops. Lots of grapefruit, orange, floral notes. Dry earthy bitterness lingers. Malt base is dry and helps put the hops at the forefront. Lingering dry resins. Solid flavor, very drinkable. I like this beer quite a bit.

Same name as the IPA at the Rock Bottom in Bellevue, but the brewer says it isnít the same and the flavor says the same. This one isnít as good. A light fresh hop aroma. Itís actually pretty pale on the hop bite for such a bold name. Still, a drinkable IPA.
