harrisoni (6704), Ashford, Kent, England Oct 18, 2006 On tap at Rock Bottom, Seattle. Copper with a bit of haze. Citrus aroma. Some hop, but this is awful too. Woody hop. No real character. Not great either. jbrus (4835), Delft, Netherlands May 7, 2009 Tap@Brewpub. Malty and floral aroma. Light hazy, pale yellow colour, fair lace. Sweet, bitter, flowers, grassy, medium body. Refreshing, flavourful, easy going. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA Apr 5, 2006 Suprisinigly tasty! A little light, but has a very satisfying malt backbone, with a refreshingly dry and bitter finish. riversideAK (2650), Shoreline, Washington, USA Dec 31, 2008 Aroma of pine and citrus. A touch of toast. Light caramel and toasted malt flavors followed by a nice burst of floral and citrus hops. Copperish pour with a thin head. I liked it. Nate (2533), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 30, 2007 Draught sample, Seattle. Nice hoppy aroma. Sweet malt and some grapefruit, bit of apricot and pear. Golden amber clear with thin off-white head. Mild body with medium carbonation. Starts hoppy with fresh grapefruit and apricot. Mild malt-grainy sweetness and bit of biscuit. Finish is crisp with apricot and bit of chalky bitterness. Fruity grassy after. dwyerpg (2519), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Oct 13, 2009 Nice light hop aroma. This is better. A small hop flavor to start which fades. Easy for session drinking but there are better pales. Crit (2399), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada Jan 2, 2003 Sparkling amber, white head.Malty taste, lacking in hops for a pale. Good lace. bitbucket (2027), Kirkland, Washington, USA Oct 27, 2006 Draft at Rock Bottom Seattle. Pours a cloudy golden orange with a lacy white head. Pine and citrus arome. Medium body and carbonation. More malty backbone than most RB beers - they’re usually overly focused on ’brewhouse efficiency." Dry pine and grapefruit finish. RB dry hops this beer, and if I was was picking a style based on taste rather than the brewer’s description. I’d have to go with IPA.
