Oct 13, 2009 Very little malt aroma. This might be better than the pale ale. Some caramel that grows. Flavor is solid and tasty for an amber.

Aug 11, 2009 On tap at Rock Bottom Seattle location. Pours out a amber topped with a sand head. Aroma of light malts and some floral hops. Taste was more of the malt along with some light nuts.

May 7, 2009 Tap@Brewpub. Malty aroma. Reddish brown colour, off-white head, good lace. Sweetish, light bitter, nutty, hint of grapefruit. Easy going Amber.

Apr 5, 2009 On tapt at RB. Color was reddish orange. Not much aroma, a little bit of bread and fruit. Flavor was pretty bland, but not outright bad. Red malt, fruit and bread. Not a great beer.

Jul 30, 2007 Draught sample, Seattle. Mild dry malty nose with light biscuit. Bit of fruity hops but not very aromatic. Copper amber clear with thin foamy off-white head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Light sweet maltiness with dry nutty roasted notes. Mild fruity hops with sweet saccharin finish. LIght nutty after.

Oct 25, 2006 Draft at Rock Bottom, Seattle. Bright reddish amber with a lacy off-white head. Pine and herbal hop aroma with with touch of malt behind it. Light body with medium carbonation. The taste is just lightly sweet with some toffee and a dry piney finish. Not so much over hopped as under malted.
