Oct 18, 2006 On tap at Rock Bottom, Seattle. Reddish copper, thin beige head. Sugar candy, bit of whisky, sweet malt character. Basically thin and bad, dry malt finish.

Dec 12, 2004 Clear Reddish brown colour with medium head. citric hoppy nose with slight malt undertones. bitter sweet taste with slight malt and lingering Hoppy after.

Mar 3, 2002 This mahogany colored ale was quite spicy, almost pepery--in any case--interesting flavor. Sour/bitter afertaste and quite spicy (what is it??). The most flavorful of the Rock Bottom beers I sampled, with novel flavoring, but still only a mediocre brew.
