harrisoni (6703), Ashford, Kent, England Oct 18, 2006 On tap at Rock Bottom, Seattle. Reddish copper, thin beige head. Sugar candy, bit of whisky, sweet malt character. Basically thin and bad, dry malt finish. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA Apr 5, 2006 Interesting amber, I would have thought this to be more of an APA, upon first taste. Overly hopped, with a less than weak maltiness. Hooker (450), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada Dec 12, 2004 Clear Reddish brown colour with medium head. citric hoppy nose with slight malt undertones. bitter sweet taste with slight malt and lingering Hoppy after. Crit (2399), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada Jun 26, 2004 Tap at Festival 04. They must have improved it since the others rated it. Nothing wonderful, but an easy drinking session beer Zach Diesel (907), Portland, Oregon, USA Sep 26, 2002 absolutely horribly overhopped and overall really nasty. BillKismet (1899), Seattle, Washington, USA Mar 3, 2002 This mahogany colored ale was quite spicy, almost pepery--in any case--interesting flavor. Sour/bitter afertaste and quite spicy (what is it??). The most flavorful of the Rock Bottom beers I sampled, with novel flavoring, but still only a mediocre brew.
