3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: FEB 4, 2011 Sample at the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy yellow color with a minimal white head that is gone quickly. A few spots of lacing and that is it. Fruity aroma with some spice notes. Light body with flavors of fruit, coriander and cloves. The finish is sweetly spiced with a lingering fruit flavor left. Slightly above average overall.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Rock Bottom Warrenville, and enjoyed in the restaurant/brewpub during the Pop! Popcorn Malt Liquor Festival on 7/10/10. Dispensed to a shaker with a cloudy, orange hue, modest, off white head foam, and light ribbons and spots of lacing. The aroma was some earthy hop and dank grain notes, along with orange peel, and then spice, as coriander. The flavor was similar, with the wet grain hints subsiding. Also with prickly carbonation, lighter than medium body, and refreshing crispness. Started out ?, but developed, and finished nicely.
