BBB63 (3810), La Porte, Indiana, USA Mar 5, 2004 At Rock Bottom Chicago Real Ale Dinner: Muddy reddish brown hue with small tan head and some lace. The aroma is very fruity (plum, current, and apple) with additional woody, caramel, and barnyard yeast esters, different. The taste starts with a funky yeasty and malt character. The sweet fruit notes dominate with a moderate spicy tone upon the finish. This medium-bodied brew has a soft and lush mouthfeel with a mild alcohol warming presence. Unique and hard to classify, I enjoyed it.

chicagodri (539), Chicago, Illinois, USA Feb 25, 2008 I was hoping for a little bit more from this beer. Pours a dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of mainly malt with a little bit of spice in there. The overall beer was little thin with not enough flavor. There was some nice malt and caramel in there. This was the beginning of my long session here.
