Had the cask version of the Espresso Stout. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate, strong coffee, and a touch of hops. Good coffee flavor, chocolate. Very good stout and very easy to drink. Solid.

Not much going on with the aroma, but beautiful color- dark brunette with a tan nitro-like head. The flavors consisted of vanilla, espresso, chocolate and some toasted nut, roasted marshmellow.

Cask at RB Warrenville- Club mug. Poured a pitch black with a lingering, tan head, and great lacing. Strong roast espresso and cocoa aroma. Same notes were present in the flavor, but not as intense as the aromatic nose with even less cocoa taste. A nice degree of hop bitterness balanced in the flavor. A medium bodied stout that was very enjoyable.

Cask conditioned at brewpub, December 26, 2008. Black, large light brown head. Really fantastic coffee aroma, would have guessed it was iced coffee if I was blindfolded. Really milky, cocoa flavor, subtle earthy hops. A really delicious stout, very rich and coffee-centric.

On cask at the brewpub - This filled the mug with a very dark, opaque brown body and a sustained spongey tan head. The aroma was dark milk chocolate, sweet cream, and coffee. Smooth. A light roasted maltiness was added to the flavor. The finish was surprizingly dry. Good stuff.
