Kevin (1765), Colorado, USA Aug 20, 2006 tap at the brewpub. damn, this is the second beer from them i screwed up entering. was told this was the "belgian wheat". poured a murky yellow that i have not seen since a pint of live oak hefe. smelled of bark, lemon custard, and a hint of banana with unknown spices. tasted like lemon grass, corriander or GofP, with a light banana and plastic flavor. finish was citrus bitter. Tmoney99 (3639), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Aug 7, 2006 Draft at Cincy. Poured hazy opaque with a moderate fizzy white head that diminished quickly with fair lacing. Light fruity citrus aroma. Medium body. Medium sweet citrus flavor with a medium sweet finish of short duration. Soft summer brew. Light golden coloured with a cloudy appearance. Banana fruit aroma and flavour. Crisp malt finish. Ernest (4250), Boulder, Colorado, USA Oct 6, 2005 Draught, Rock Bottom, Westminster.
Head is fully diminishing.
Body is hazy light yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (grain), with light notes of coriander and lemon zest.
Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic.
Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Like most other brews here, the finish is rather bland and the nose simple and cookie-cutter in character. Nothing special. ratman197 (2360), Arvada, Colorado, USA Oct 1, 2005 On tap poured a cloudy yellow with a creamy white head. Aromas of citrus, spices and bread. Palate was light and crisp. Flavors of light citrus bread, and lemon with a slightly sweet refreshing finish.
