This wheat IPA is very hoppy. A bit more bitter than most beers, this IPA is blissfully laden with loads of hops. Plenty of wheat malt and flaked wheat round out the sharp tongue tinglies. There is an absolutely bonkers quantity of Centennial and Cascade hops carelessly thrown into this beer. This wheat ale is worth a billion silver bentbar.(ancient Indian currency)

Draft on tap at the brewpub (Lombard, IL). Pours a rich glowing golden hue, deeper striking darkness, touches of orange in the body. A bigger frothy bright white head sits atop, laces well as it stays around as a moderate layer. Aromas are rich juicy citrus, touches of bubblegum, tropical fruit. Mellow flaked wheat, bready malts, pale grains. Florals, melons, oranges. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied offering a boatload of grapefruit, melon, tropical fruits. Amarillo gumball elements, oranges, and more melon. Florals, grass, and mellow sweetness. Firm dryness and dry hops hit up front. Middle shows mellow dryness, earthy bitter hops, florals and weeds, mellow citrus, faint piney quality peeks through some citrus, tropical fruit qualities. A distinct melon ball quality. Backend and finish is dry and lingering, bitter dry hops are moderate yet grow slowly throughout. Lighter and refreshing, with some firm fresh bitter hops. Quite enjoyable, quffable, and fresh and fairly vibrant. Well done, Davin.

On tap and Mug Club served at the Yorktown brewpub, displaying a hazed, golden hue, a finger width of soft white, moussy head foam that reduced fairly quickly to a ring & film, and left some patchy lacing on the glass. The nose was lemony and piney, with some honey sweetness. Some of this sweetness carried over, along with supportive and smooth grassiness, but the main attraction of the flavor was an expressive, lingering, earthy, citrus rind, favorably astringent, hop bitterness. With a medium body, sly alcohol warmth, and lively carbonation, the finale remained bitter and crisply dry. Nicely done, Davin!
