COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The brewers of Belgium have been brewing flavorful beers for quite some time. In between Singles & Tripels in strength, Dubbels are characterized by their deep mahogany hue and spicy flavors. Order a pint and be blessed!

On tap at the Yorktown brewpub and served to a sampler showing a hazed, brownish amber hue, with a fairly persistent head of light tan foam, and clingy ribbons & spots of lacing. The aroma was a little yeasty funkiness, toastiness, some notes of smoke & peat, and a hint of leather. The flavor added moderate to low hop bitterness and slight, estery astringency. Softly carbonated, with mostly a thin & watery texture. Just okay, imo.
