mgoy (263), Oak Brook, Illinois, USA May 9, 2008 On tap at Rock Bottom Yorktown. Rock Bottom Yorktown Line Drive Light is a clear, light yellow color with a very airy off-white head. The flavor and aroma are of corn adjuncts. This is not an impressive beer, but I would not mind drinking this in a large quantity. kseecs16 (513), Westmont, Illinois, USA Feb 23, 2008 Pale thin white head straw colored. Mild saaz light malt a little tart. Light body.

drewbeerme (1782), Chicago, Illinois, USA Feb 22, 2008 on tap at RB Yorktown, pours clear yellow with small white head. nose is rice, grainy, and corny. flavor is much of the same with some spicy hop notes. extremely watery body. decent for what it is. Ughsmash (2958), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Nov 19, 2007 On tap at RB – Yorktown. Poured clear, bright, almost watery golden with a dusting of white head. The aroma was very light with sweet wheat and pale malts along with a little cardboard…OK, but hard to get much out of it. The flavor was quite sweet with pale malts representin’.. some barley and faint floral bitterness in there as well.. left a sweet wheaty finish. Very light-bodied on the palate, but not watery for the most part.. I enjoyed the bone-dry finish. Overall not so good. Drnk_McDermott (1536), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA Oct 5, 2007 Mug Club mug. A big enough mug lets any beer’s color get denser and more appealing. In the Mug Club, this has a golden straw color, with a light head. A touch of apple and sour cherry at first sniff. Taste has clean pale malts, with a light but attention-getting German hop. Slight fruitiness suggests a warm ferment or keg. Good example of this style.
