one of what are probably years old rock creek brews I got at kclingers discount self. Still was pretty good. has a tad of a citrus taste, body was a bit thin, but a decent pale ale.

Pours gold, with medium head. Tastes of hops, citrus, slight honey. Finishes smooth, with slight lemon, hops, and sweetness at the end.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 raymow (763) - Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 15, 2003
Not bad - but I've had 7 or 8 different beers today, so - who knows! As with all of the Rock Creek beers that I've had so far, it's darker than expected - which is a good thing. Overall though, it's nothing special - good but not great.

A hoppy pale ale. Not as much as a regular pale ale but i guess thats why it is a gold beer. Not bad but not the best "pale ale" ive had.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Sturgess (173) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 28, 2002
This gold ale was pretty good in comparison to other’s. I wasn’t extremely impressed, but I dont really go for golden lagers or pale ale’s, and this beer couldn’t seem to decide what it wanted to be.

Not great. Agonizing bitterness with nothing to back it up. Won’t drink again.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 igneous1 (1467) - Davenport, Iowa, USA - JUN 10, 2002
mild hoppiness, and just as it advertises, is a ’clean’ brew. while not at all complex, i could see drinking a few of these watching a game or something.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Dickinsonbeer (5075) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - APR 26, 2002
Light beers like this are usually not to my liking but this had great flavor, despite its 4.0% alc by volume. Nice malt/hop aroma in nice balance. Dry finish, with a nice aftertase, and very refreshing. A good brew but their American is better.

Golden coloured. Lively, light bodied and relatively bitter. Refreshing.
