Brewed from all malt, with no corn adjunct, Rock River offers a full, rich mouthfeel, balanced by plenty of fresh-tasting Continental hop aroma, satisfying complex, yet easy to enjoy.

From the Historical Beers of America pack picked up at Sams Club. Clear gold color with a medium white head. Sweet malty aroma. Malt and brown sugar finishing off with a hint of nuts. None of these flavors jumped out at me, they just seemed to flirt with the tongue and disappear. Not bad though. would drink again. B

A bit cloudy appearance. Toasty taste with moderate hop. Yeast is very noticeable. A little watery, with no unpleasant aftertaste.

Lemon yellow in color... Ahhh to heck with it... Maybe I’m just not feeling it but it’s pretty average but at least it’s drinkable and not offensive.

Basic american lager with beefed up flavors. extra malt, some hops, some bitterness. Crisp grain flavors, but not much else.

Not bad, not a lager fan, I can taste the alcohol (not usual for a lager). But I would drink it if if was all that was available.

In the bottle from the ridiculous wooden tool box packaging. Pours a rich gold (not light by any definition). Has a medium big-bubbled white head. Very corny and malty aroma. Surprisingly mild flavor. This beer finishes quick- super quick. Has some honey sweetness to the flavor, but the amazing thing is the world’s fastest finish. This is the style of beer that holds up best to this "lack-of-ingredients approach" to beer making.

Well for an unknown lager it was a bit of a surprise. Yellow pour, white head. Aroma is sweet, grainy and malty. Flavor is pretty smooth with some sweetness and light malts. Not a great beer, but very easy to drink.

Very light clear golden body with a thin white head. Moderate lacing. Aroma of grass and perfume. Taste was light malt and hops but very thin on the palate. Easy to drink.
