3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On Tap at Rockbottom brewpub in Halifax. Sexy location.
A really friendly easy drinking lager. I never expected a beer this tame from a brew pub. This "Ale" was essentially a fresher amped up version on Molson Export as far as I am concerned. I love Molson Export so I loved this ale.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap, part of the tasting tray offered at the brewpub. Clear light gold, nearly no aroma. Flavour of cereal grains, like brewers mash, husky, some light caramel. No hop character at all. A little odd really.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draught @ Rockbottom, Halifax, NS: Amber pour, light citrusy aroma. Good citrus taste, a little bit spicy and oddly boozy. I don’t think it’s a high percentage but you can definitely taste it.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pale straw colour with a thin haziness and a light white head. Aroma is fairly wheaty with a light grassiness. A touch of fruitiness (both from the yeast and from a lightly citrusy choice of hop). Fairly crisp finish. It’s sessionable, but not all that interesting.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
On tap at the pub. Pale golden colour with a mostly diminishing frothy white head. Faint fruity aroma and similar mineral notes as the wheat. Light bread and fruity flavours with the same acidic twang as the wheat - which fits much less with this one than it does with the wheat. Light bodied, firm mouthfeel.
