A San Diego-style Double IPA. Light bodied with a mind-bending hop presence and an oily, lingering finish. Excellent with spicy foods, poultry, fish or our cheese plate.

12oz draft at brewpub. Aroma was grapefruit and floral hops with some bready yeast. Colour was an opaque brownish amber with a foamy, off-white head. Taste was predominantly grapefruit and herbal hops, but there was an odd grain and pine smoke flavour at the back of the palate. Body was a little thinner than I’d prefer. Overall, a decent DIPA.
