3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 DuffMan (5194) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 6, 2011
On tap, part of the tasting tray offered at the brewpub. Cloudy amber blonde. Aroma of unripened berries, which is odd given that there is no fruit in here apparently. Tart, crisp palate, Quite acidic, with a flavour note of unripened raspberries. Refreshing.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Slacks (615) - Bolton, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 2, 2010
Draught @ Rockbottom, Halifax, NS: Amber yellow pour, sweet aroma with tangerine, wheat, yeast, coriander and clove. The taste is quite tangy, bready, fairly traditional wheat. Not bad.

Very hazy/cloudy yellow pour. A little bit of light bubble gum and wheaty spice along with a kiss of light fruit. A little bit of apple and pear as well. Palate is fairly watery as well.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 OKBeer (1168) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - APR 9, 2009
On tap at the pub. Pale yellow with a fully diminishing frothy white head. Fruity and lightly grassy aroma with some mineral notes. Fruity, toasty and lightly acidic flavours with a dry lemony, somewhat vegetal finish. Light bodied, but refreshing. Is almost leaning towards a Berliner Weisse - which I’m pretty sure is not what they were going for here unfortunately.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Gethinbeer (1821) - Musky, Nova Scotia, CANADA - FEB 7, 2009
On tap at Rockbottom, Halifax. Im sure this isn’t a wheat at all and just the pale ale served with a lemon and orange. Yes a lemon and orange on the edge of my glass. I have to say a very nice fresh piece of lemon and orange indeed. The best part of the beer. The beer has nothing really. Quite bland. Sweet with a citrus hint. Probably from the lemon and orange on the edge of my glass. Not to good I’m afraid. At least now I know what not to order at Rockbottom.
