This style of beer has a little something for everyone. Although it stays true to its Belgian roots with a signature fruity sweetness that lingers on the tongue, there’s still a hint of bitterness which mimics the common characteristic of an IPA. It’s light in body and has a slight citrus flavor, but don’t let its effervescent appearance fool you- this one packs an extra terrestrial punch as one of our higher gravity beers, landing in at 8.4% ABV. It’s not rocket science- you do that math…that means Terrestri-Ale taste times 3. So you’d better have E.T. phone home for your designated driver if you plan on having more than one of these!

Cloudy orange pour from the tap, moderate lacing. Light hops with notes of pepper and citrus. Alcohol content is quite obvious.

On tap @ Rocket Republic. Clear golden orange pour with white foam. There’s a decent enough spicy and estery quality. Big time banana and baked apple. Slight orange, a touch of pepper, and maybe some vanilla? Slight alcohol. Big time sweetness, though. Aroma is halfway decent, but the sugary nature of the flavor kind of wears on you.

Draft. Cloudy gold color with a fair white head that quickly dissipates leaving minimal lacing. The aroma is slightly fruity with apples, spices and grain. The taste has some alcholol to it but overall is mellow.

Draft. Lemon barley malt and light astringent alcohol aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Sweet milky lemon and malt flavor. Mild astringent alcohol finish. Subdued for a tripel but still a nicely drinkable beer.

Light aroma of Belgian yeast. Over carbonated which makes it more harsh. Sweet. Not bad in general. Light with a huge head. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Poured deep gold with a medium-sized, fluffy white head. Aroma and flavor were fruity (peaches, apricots, some cherries, banana), light citrus, honey, Belgian candi sugar, light spice. Started sweet, ended fairly dry. Surprisingly light in body and drinkable for an 8.5% tripel. My favorite of those made in Alabama.

Draft. Hazy light orange with medium white head and nice lacing. Aroma of fruit esters (apple), grain, and some sweetness. Medium body with some candi sugar sweetness upfront with spice, fruit, and citrus notes that finishes dry.
