JStax (1669) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - APR 6, 2012
Poured from a corked and caged 750 ml bottle. Appearance is a hazy copper with a thick white head of foam that maintains itself well. Aroma is sweet and fruity with a nice orange zest thing going on. Taste is somewhat subdued from the aroma but still sweet and earthy. In the finish is a fruity ester note that gives way to fresh ground black pepper. Interesting beer. Pick this up if the opportunity presents itself.

Thanks to Beace for the bottle. Hazy orange pour with a fluffy white head and a bit of lace. Aroma is spicy with some gum.. Light acidity and spice. Pleasantly surprised by this one

MrBunn (2218) - Western, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 18, 2012
750 ml bottle. Pours an orangish gold with a small white head and aromas of bread, oranges and lemon. Flavor is pretty mild on the spice notes, but has a very interesting citrus edge to it. I’d love to know whether that’s hops or whether it’s yeast. Interesting stuff.

Clear golden with a mammoth pillowy white head. Aroma is quite wine like with fruits and Belgian yeast spices. Medium, well carbonated body. Flavor has nice Belgian spice, fruits, herbal hops, and a bit of rock sugar. Well made and quite enjoyable.

Gold pour, whitish head. Aroma is lightly spicy, some lemon notes, bready. Flavor is a tad sweeter and not as spicy or yeasty as expected. Dave is right, this one is kinda not a saison, but still good.
