Bottle shared at Natifest ’11. Poured cloudy orange color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted leaving excellent lacing. Strong complex dark fruit, brown sugar and yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Good dark fruit sweet flavor with a good complex sweet finish that had a moderate duration. Very solid brew

Bottle at RBWG 2014, thanks! Pours a hazy gold with an amber hue and a tan head that dissipates to the edges quickly. Aroma has a sweet grain note with belgian yeast and a bit of light fruits. Flavor has earthy grain with a bit of light spice and light fruits.

~6oz pour from a bottle, at the brewery. Totally cloudy yellow orange golden color. Thin off-white head, good ropes and reaches of lace. Awesome banana, tropical fruity taste. Light, but satisfying herbs and spice. Bigger body, smooth, creamy lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Awesome full body and creamy texture, moderate bitter, awesome moderate sweet taste. Great light bit of alcohol warmth, works very well with the aroma. Fantastic tripel. Light citric acidity is the only mild complaint I can think of.

Hazed orange/gold pour with creamy off white head and lace. Wheatiness, caramel, a hinto brown sugar, and abv. sweet wheat, rock candy, Belgain yeast and a nice abv warmth. A bit thin and a tad fizzy for me.

750 ml bottle sampled a few times. Pours a slightly hazy golden orange colorwith a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, ample fruity notes, mild spicy character, some wheat with a splash of honey. Not boozy, decent but their price point is a bit high.

Bottle sample at the Rockmill tasting at Blacklick Wine & Spirits on 1/27/10. Opaque amber/caramel color with a thin off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, Belgian esters, coriander and raisin. A tiny bit of vanilla (kinda like in the saison) hits the tongue first, then a caramelly malt presence before spicy coriander and an earthy hop finish. This one made them 4 for 4. The beers aren’t cheap, but very well made and right up my alley since I’m not big on the banana and bubblegum Belgians.
