3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From a 330ml bottle on 1/11/2013. Pours a clear golden with a medium head. Has a slight fruity aroma. The flavour is more distinctive, with quite a bit of fruitiness (particularly stone fruit) with a decent dry bitterness at the back. Has a fullish body and medium carbonation. Not a bad APA.

Low malt - moderately hopped - equally earthy and peachy flavours - well balanced - easy to drink - very pleasant - don’t know why, but wasn’t expecting much so a surprise package.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours dark amber with a small head.
Nose shows sweet malt, orange marmalade and spicy and earthy hops. Simple but quite nice.
Hoppier flavours, more spicy but also soft floral notes and a hint of grapefruit. Sweet malt underneath gives a biscuity and orange marmalade character.
Carbonation is too high.
More English than APA.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Rose gold with a small white head that never quite dissipates. Peachy aroma with oranges, grass and a little grapefruit, caramel. Fairly light-bodied, medium carbonation. Sweet at first with peach and light caramel, then citrus and pepper cut through towards a dry and fairly bitter finish. All very harmonious. Quality quaffer.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear amber gold color. Thin white collar for a head. Better on swirling as a decent 2 finger head after aggressive swirling.
Nose is mainly biscuit, caramel, and some soft grapefruit and pine notes. Really dominated by the malt.
Sweet caramel and malt backbone. Some soft citrus bitterness. Nothing insane or earth shattering.
Good carbonation and medium bodied. Drinkable at best.
Not offensive and not very exciting

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
For some reason, probably unfairly, I had low expectations but this was very serviceable. A light weight at 4.5% but this is full of clean and classic PA lines. Mild bitterness to finish.
