Idiosynkrasie (3239) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - APR 12, 2014
330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy golden colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity and slightly floral hoppy and yeasty aroma, fruity notes of strawberry, peach with slightly artificial character of fruit gums. Taste is dry, slightly grassy and minimally fruity hoppy, slightly yeasty, more fruity notes seem to come from "below", gooseberry, peach, again with the artificial fruit gum touch, subtle sweetness, relatively lively carbonation. Somehow like a Belgian-APA.

Aroma: grassy, flowery notes. Appearance: hazy pale gold, medium creamy white head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: bitterness expanding, citrus fruit, grapefruit in particular?, slightly watery, low carbonation, average-long duration. Overall: very decent APA, bit light on the aroma. Bottle from Odd Bins, Pimlico.

olio (5274) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 20, 2014
33 cl bottle.
Pours hazy lime-golden color with a huge white head. Very interesting aroma to say the least, some gummy bears, soapy citric notes, apricot and some hops, faint perfumey notes also, some weird Saison-Witbier thing going on here. Flavor is citric and hoppy, some grapefruits, gooseberries and lemon zest with a grassy finish, yeast and mold, some off-notes on the aftertaste. Strong carbonation, light body, bitter fruity palate. An ok, but a bit weird APA.

lusikka (5341) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 20, 2014
330 ml bottle. Pours a clear golden colour with a large foamy head. Aroma of grapefruit, grass and some earth. Flavour of pale malts, grapefruity bitterness, yeast and straw. Light bodied, foamy mouthfeel and high carbonation. Dry malty finish with some bitterness. Yeastiness runs over all the interesting flavours, as with their other beers. Feels a lot stronger than 4,8% ABV...

Oakes (11798) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 1, 2014
Cloudy light tan, fruity, slightly berryish, easy-going background malts, rich bitterness w high cohumulone. Fresh and fruity...a truer APA than the Brits usually make.
