COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We brew this beer in the tradition of all our favorite blondes, smooth and easy going. This delicious lager is crisp and refreshing with a herbal, earthy hop character and malty finish. Kick the training wheels off and try this instead of your usual “mega-brew” lager.

On tap at brewery poured clear yellow with thin white fully diminishing head and virtually no lacing, aroma is citrus biscuit. Taste is moderate perfume, lemon, biscuit and hay. Initial flavor is bitter with a fairly dry finish and moderate bite on the end. Light body with lively carbonation.

Pour on tap at the brewery, clear yellow pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of slight biscuit, vanilla, and lemon, hints of grain and touch of earthy minerals. Taste is fairly clean, some slightly watery biscuit, bread, some yeast, touch of earth, vanilla and honey, finishing fairly dry. Not much going on here.

UPDATED: JUN 7, 2012 Tap @ brewery. Slight hazy, light yellow appearance with a white head. Somewhat fruity, citrusy, slightly grassy hoppy, pale malty aroma. Refreshing citrusy, light pale malty flavor with some grassy, herbal hops on the finish. Not bad.

Tasted at 2010 Craft Lager Festival in Manitou Springs. Poured hazy gold with a fluffy white head. Light aroma dominated by whiffs of cereal malt. Flavor primarily pale malts, but floral hops and a slight citrus twist also come through. Light yet creamy body, a nice finish to the day.

Had this on tap at the Rocky Mountain Brewery on 10/7/08. Color is a bright gold with good carbonation and a nice white head. Aroma of grain with a hint of hops in the back. Light body with a crisp feel that gives a mild malt flavor then some hops come out with just a hint of bitterness. After taste is clean. Not bad for a Golden Ale.
