On tap at Bubba’s 33. Cola brown color, with a small, velvety, beige head. The nose is chicory, mild roast coffee, milk chocolate, and oats. Very sweet, with a light roasty bitterness. Medium body, fairly creamy and malty mouthfeel, with a pretty clean finish. Pretty nice, easy, malty brown.

Draft at the brewery. Pours clear nut brown with a fizzy beige head. Tastes like dark chocolate, nutty, roasted malt, some burnt toast, and dry cocoa. Light body and low/medium carbonation. Smells like dark chocolate, burnt toast, roasted and nutty malt.

Brown with red edges. Nice khaki foam. Aroma of nuts, toast, and chocolate. Creamy texture from very light carbonation. Malts are bready with notes of pistachio. Fairly clean finish.

Pour on tap at the brewery, dark reddish brown pour with thin off white head, aroma has notes of biscuit, grass, some caramel, toffee, hints of cocoa, touch of earth, nuts and some toast. Taste is pretty nice, some dark cocoa, touch of caramel, toffee and bready notes, touch of spice, yeast, grass in there with a hint of toast, finishing fairly roasted and sweet.

UPDATED: JUN 7, 2012 Tap @ brewery. Dark appearance with a tan head. Slightly fruity, roasty dark malty aroma. Tangy, fruity, deep roasty malty flavor. I think that there may have been a mild infection but I could be wrong. Update: tried it again and this time didn’t taste infected. Nice nuttiness and toasty caramel malts.

On tap at Rocky Mountain Brewery. Color is a near black brown with low carbonation and a very thin but tight head. Aroma is a mild roasted scent. Its a medium bodied brew with a mellow malt flavor that give a nice caramel taste with a touch of toasted nuts. After taste is clean and dry with a very mild bitterness. This is a good Brown.

Draft at SBR 7/11/09. Pours an off white head over a dark amber (SRM 15) body....nose is very roasted malt in type almost coffee, much toffee, biscuit.....taste is rather sweet early, then is rescued by mild hop bitterness, with a lingering mild hop finish. This is a rather unusual brown because of the relatively high hop effect.

(on tap at Summit Brewfest in Colorado Springs). Pours a clear brown color. Medium tan head. Malty aroma. Nutty and malty flavor, with a nice balance of light hops. Avg duration. Soft carbonation.

Draught at brewery(10/7/08)-This beer poured a dark amber/light brown body with a decent off white head. Aroma of cleanser (not sure if the glass was rinsed properly). The flavor did not come up that way but instead a nice nut and malt taste. This medium bodied brew finished somewhat bitter. Overall, it was quite tasty.
