Sampled at DLD 07. Pours dark hazy brown with medium density tan head. The aroma is grainy and musty with chocolate notes and granola. Medium body with little carbonation. The flavor starts with dark grainy malt and lots of dryness and light chocolate. The finish has more graininess and lightly sour with some roastiness.

Poured black in color with a small tan head. Had a chocolate and malt aroma. Very light to the palate and somewhat nutty flavor.

Growler at DLD, poured black with a thin tan head. Heavy aromas of coffee and burnt malts. Smooth mouthfeel, very light with hints of chocolate, nuts and some spice, maybe anise? Bitter finish with some residual sweetness. Another quality brew from RR.
