GrbDg (301), Avon Lake, Ohio, USA May 2, 2007 Growler at DLD, poured black with a thin tan head. Heavy aromas of coffee and burnt malts. Smooth mouthfeel, very light with hints of chocolate, nuts and some spice, maybe anise? Bitter finish with some residual sweetness. Another quality brew from RR.

Medium body with little carbonation. The flavor starts with dark grainy malt and lots of dryness and light chocolate.
