UPDATED: NOV 17, 2013 Bottle. Pours a slightly cloudy orange gold with rapidly settling white head. Aroma is sweet, sweet, skunky, almost lager-like. Flavor is sweet cereal and grain up front, with a skunky, chemical, cheap lager finish. Had to check the bottle a second time to confirm what I was drinking. Soft carbonation, watery texture. One of the worst wheat ales I’ve tried.

Bottled. Yellow pour with a light white head, very poor retention. The aroma is light, no signs of wheat. The taste is pretty bad, tastes like a cheap lager. Overall not for me.

Pours a hazy yellow, perfect head. Nose of orange peel, lemon, wheat and alcohol. Not sure what it is with Rockyard beer, but they all seem to have the same earthy flavor on the palate. The taste is similar to chewing on a stick or tree limb... Presents well, but is awful!

Pour on tap, clear yellow pour with white head, aroma is wet grain, biscuit and bread, hints of very slight bready and yeast notes with a touch of fruit. Taste is some slightly sweet biscuit and bread, hints of fruit, slight yeast, finishing fairly dry. No thanks.

Light to medium body and not a lot of flavor. Still better than the lynx though.

Draft at brewpub. Wow this has less taste than their pale lager. Pours slightly darker then you’d expect. Not much on the nose. Meh!

(draft 3/9/11). Gold color, with light cloudiness. Medium white head. Moderate wheat/malt aroma and flavor, with light citrus/lemon. Avg duration. Smooth finish. Slick texture. Moderate carbonation. Fair lacing.
