COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This pre-prohibition lager is the true American Pilsner. Brewed with North American barley and hops, it is medium-bodied, clean and quenching. Brewed in memory of our fallen brothers (named after Paul "Dutch" Schreiber), by Marines, with piss and vinegar.

Tasted at the 2010 Craft Lager Festival in Manitou Springs. Clear pale straw color with a lively white head. Muted aroma brings just a bit of green grass and raw malted barley. Flavor is very simplistic, but finishes clean with a little peppery hop spice. Slightly watery body, but smooth good carbonation and balance, just nothing too memorable here.

Tap. Pours clear yellow with a medium, fizzy white head, lasting with good lacing. Aroma is malty grain and meal with corn and grassy hops, clean lager yeast. Flavor is malty and corn with medium bitterness and a clean lager character. Light bodied, moderate carbonation.

On tap @ Rockyard poured a clear yellow with a lasting white head. Aromas of straw and light spice. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of straw with a hint of spice and a crisp lightly bitter finish.

Clear and very light golden; bright white head with some nice lace patterns. Very smooth texture with a mild carbonation. Malts were mild, overpowered by a strange medicinal characteristic, possibly a "spicy" element from the hops. Had a sharp, metallic edge to it, too. Hops were herbal and grassy, with a decent bitterness level. Not undrinkable by any means, but it had some odd things going on.
