Clean yellow pour with a thin white head. Nose is musty and kind of butty, resinous catty hops with some pine. Flavor is meh, lots of resin and hop oils, very catty and bitter. Lasting astringent hop bite.

Bottle from arminjewell. thanks dude. Orange with a small white head. very light nose: some citrus, malts. Flavor is however very potent: loads of green hops, some malty sweetness, a little messy.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 DiarmaidBHK (1392) - Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 15, 2011
Draft at brewpub. It’s a familiar story with Rockyard beers. They smell interesting but their taste fades very quickly. A hop or two on the nose. On the tongue not much bitterness or flavor.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 arminjewell (2445) - Parker, Colorado, USA - OCT 4, 2011
Pour out of bottle is clear orange with white head, aroma has big notes of pine, grass, and mostly tangerine, some slight resinous notes in there with a touch of biscuit. Taste is lots of big tangerine and grapefruit, leads into some slight grass and resinous notes, finishing fairly bitter. Not a ton of malt to balance this out, but overall it has some nice flavors in it.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20 DrinkEmUpJones (540) - Georgia, USA - SEP 30, 2011
Clear golden orange, good lacing. Good grass & grapefruit aromas; palate is nicely hoppy, cut grass, grapefruit & white flowers with a very lingering finish. Best beer @ rockyard.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 notalush (3617) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUL 9, 2011
Bottle, with a drawing of an extremely muscular anthropomorphized rabbit on the label - have no idea what that shit’s about - hazy golden brew - quite dry, which I typically like my ipas to be - however, this falls into a fairly common IPA trap in that the hops seem to be thrown in with little regard for how their bitterness and flavor will work in the beer - turns out to be kind of a mess - bitterness becomes kind of soapy - flavor is extremely dank, like chewing on a dimebag - pine resin - meh, I like the driness, but the hop bill need to be revisited.
2.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 adnielsen (3108) - Denver, Colorado, USA - APR 5, 2011
On tap @ Rockyard. Light golden yellow-orange appearance with a light colored head. Piney, earthy hippy nose. Marijuana, piney hop flavored body. Quite bitter and the hops taste a little too earthy and piney to me.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 Sammy (5888) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 2, 2011
Some citrus orange taste, but overall a harsh IPA with aggressive carbonation, minerally. Thanks Jason Bach from the Colorado variety back, I still found this drinkable although I did not finish the bottle. Decent beer, with hop aromas, and lasting half inch of white foam head, though not competitive as an IPA.
