0.25 l on tap at the BeerTemple. Hazy, dark brownish red with a thin, creamy, tan head. Sweetish, fruity-malty aroma of raisins, prunes, brown sugar and almond. Sweetish-sourish taste of red grapes, raisins, oak, wine vinegar and almond, followed by a short, slightly tart finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent and light astringent mouthfeel, flat. Very harmonic with a nice balance between the acidity and the sweetness. Rather fruity, still highly refreshing. Very good!

Draft at Beer Temple with Al, Barry, and Keith. Murky brown Amber color with thick foam, notes are ultra dusty with oak, leather, cherry. Medium Body.

Tap at Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Copper shade with a fair sized head on it. Smells wild, jammy fruits, all kinds of berries. Wood definitely comes through. I still haven’t had regular Rodenbach but this is definitely brighter and juicier than the Grand Cru. Only let down a bit by the palate being a bit too light and thin. Tart edge to it but fairly restrained on that front. Good stuff.

On tap at Armakeggon 2015 and fortunate enough to win a squeeler of it. Thanks guys! Quite sour but yet deeply refreshing, tastes and smells of fruits and a wooden taste on the back end that kicks in. Nice kick on the palate that’s not overly sour, just right. Not normally my style but really enjoyed this. Privileged to even get this and glad I did.

Lightly hazy clean golden amber, lightly tart on the nose, dry, complex, plenty of lactic character...sweaty cheese and hay, with a fairly acidic finish but gentler than expected. Soft and flat.Long dry finish.

On tap at The Archive for Armakeggon. Not normally my style but this was a welcome surprise, not overly funky, just enough to be interesting, smooth and complex.

Draught at Brugges Beer Museum. Cloudy amber pour with an off-white head. Aroma of sour berries, swamp, barnyard and balsamic vinegar. Medium body with a nice snappy sour finish.

Tiny growler. Amber with an off-white head that retreats to the rim straight away. Aroma of berries, bracken, apples, caramel. Quite sour, perhaps not as acidic as expected - and no vinegar at all. Thin lassi-like texture, low carbonation. Under-ripe berries, apples, toffee, damp undergrowth, some hard spices. Deeply refreshing. Very lovely indeed.

On tap. Pours a hazy mahogany with light retentive head. Aromas of sour berries, wet wood, and balsamic vinegar. Light flavors of red berries, oak, and brown vinegar. Clean and refreshing.
