Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
A blend of 1/3 young beer and 2/3 of beer aged 2 years in large oak vats. The more important proportion of oak matured beer contributes to its fruity taste, complexity and intensity. The finish is worthy of a great wine.

I dont drink too many sour ales, but this one is actually very drinkable. You can smell the sourness right away, and i though it was going to be overwhelming, but its not. Pours a dark mahogany color with little or no head. it is very sweet, but not a malty sweet. Little or no hops, but it does have a mild bitterness at the end

33cl bottle from Barley Wine. It poured a dark red colour with a small creamy off-white head that settled down fast in the glass. The aroma is very sour with notes ot yeast and cherries. The flavour is bitter and tastes of yeast, cherries and appes. It has a short aftertaste.

AlohaC’s year end tasting. When it was first poured, those with way more experience and discerning palates said it was bad. Metallic. I didn’t taste it for 15-20 minutes, as the bottle sat open. By the time I tasted it I liked it. It was sweet and round in the mouth. Tart finish. Maybe i just don’t know.

Dark, reddish pour with a nice tan head. Aroma is vinegar, sour fruits, and a bit of funk. Woody, sour flavor with a bit of a cherry finish. A bit of a whiskey character. Nice carbonation, good mouthfeel.

Deep ruby reddish brown, pale head. Aroma of sour cherries. Flavor of raisins, plums, sweet start and sour finish. Full mouth. Weird but fun.
