COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
A blend of 1/3 young beer and 2/3 of beer aged 2 years in large oak vats. The more important proportion of oak matured beer contributes to its fruity taste, complexity and intensity. The finish is worthy of a great wine.

On tap at Archive. A murky mahogany appearance with a thin head and aroma of sour cherry. Nice malty body with a refreshing tart finish. The best sour I’ve had; it lives up to its reputation.

Deep red medium bodied ale, with aroma and flavour of fruit and vinegar, and a sour and lightly sweet taste, with a funky finish. The colour is beautiful, but vinegar and funk are not something I appreciate, and end up ruining the experience for me. At least I now know that this style is not for me.

pours dark amber/brown color, clear, with tiny, half a finger high off-white/biege stable head. Aroma: Complex and intense aroma of gooseberries, sour cherries, wine vinegar, oak, vanilla....hint of honey. Very similar is flavor, with same notes, mentioned above, with clean tartness, woody with tannins, long dry finish. body is moderate medium, carbonation is medium, texture soft. Great refreshing beer.

Bottle 0,33. Pours clear dark ruby red with small white head. Aroma is sour with notes of berries, vinegar with a hint of caramel. Sour taste with notes of red berries, a bit sweetness in the aftertaste, with dry and fruity finish. Medium body and fizzy carbonation. A bit sour for my taste, a nice beer though.

UPDATED: MAY 2, 2016 33cl bottle, served in snifter glass. Poured a deep, dark Bordeaux red with a two finger ivory head. Aromas of cherry, vinegar, wood, apples, vanilla. Taste: Oooh that is divine! Cherries, tart, grannie smith apples, balsamico vinegar, dark fruit, wine, oak, vanilla. Medium body with a vinous, acidic, fruity tart finish. This is soooo finger lickin’ good!

Pours a murky deep reddish brown with almost no head. Aroma is red wine, sour cherries and mild vinegar. Taste is tart and sour cherries but there is also some sweetness mixed in. Not very different from a granny smith apple. Very crisp with low carbonation. I will have to try this one again when I have had more experience with sours.
