COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
A blend of 1/3 young beer and 2/3 of beer aged 2 years in large oak vats. The more important proportion of oak matured beer contributes to its fruity taste, complexity and intensity. The finish is worthy of a great wine.

Fawn tall head, dark clear red-brown body, pair of thin rims as lacing. Aroma; dark brown malts, dark fermented fruits, sour fruit peel. Taste; dark sour malts, dark fruit lemonade, sour plums and other fruits, lingonberries. Feels lemonade’ish, the body’s quite alright anyway. Overall; easy to drink, harder to understand.

I can definitely notice the house flavor here. This is the base of the caractere rouge. Sour with some plum and grape raisin flavors. Sweetness at the end is surprising. Great middle ground of sour and normal beer. Barrel tannins adds a depth to the tongue feel abd are more noticeable in the nose

Deep purple/mahogany pour with ring of offwhite on top. Funky sweet aroma: leather tannins, tart cherry, barnyard funk or fur, fragrant wood. Low cabronation, tingly mouthfeel with a medium body/viscosity, very clean finish. Tart flavor ofcherries and possible berries, pert funk, a bit of weathered wood and faint leather too. Really well done sour beer that’s lighter bodied and not too tart.
