From bottle at restaurant, this goes fantastically well with food, I had a Dutch cheese board, which was a brilliant combination with this beer,

Shared a 33cl bottle from Cora (Luxembourg). Pours a reddish brown colour with almost no head. Aroma is red fruits, wine (port) and sour. Average frizzy carbonation and medium to light body. Taste is sour, medium bitter and light sweet with a long sour, bitter and dry finish. Well balanced and multidimensional. Overall, a very good beer that almost resembles a wine.

Draught @ Wildeman, Amsterdam.
Clear red-brown pour, beige finely bubbled head. Smell of unripe red fruit and some nice balsamico vinegar.
Flavour is berries and some cherry, with dry and sour, mild malt finish.
Well balanced and not overly sour, well done.

Pours a clear, dark honey-amber color with a huge tan head. Tart nose consisting of yams, honey rotting apple, and Chardonnay. Smooth, wet, hard water feel. Well-blended flavors of cider and white wine with a nicely balanced sweetness.

Refrigerated 75 brown bottle corked and capped poured into a tulip. Pours dark crimson with big off-white head. Aroma is tart vinegar, medium body, medium/low carbonation, and thin small bubble lacing. Taste is vinegar, oak, some cherry, and long rich sour finish. Nice beer, but not anything close to Rodenbach Vintage.

I am a sucker for Belgium beers, especially the funky ones! Very smooth and crisp beer. Slightly malty sourly acid taste which it should be. Oak is present but not overpowering. Nice and fruity in the nose! Well done!
