Very tart and full of flavor, sweet cherries and framboises. A very badass Sour Ale, one of my favorites. MrChopin (632), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | May 23, 2008 Amber red with sizable yellow white head. Beneath the strong bitter/vinegar nose is fruit, a significant malt component that includes some caramel, and hints of dry alcohol, like a sauvignon. Flavor is strongly acidic while cherry and apple form the fruity notes. There are hints of dust floating around. Palate is a playground, truly deserves the 5 as it perfectly compliments the refreshing acidic fruit tones. Overall, just wow! My first sour ale, but certainly not my last. Complex and supremely refreshing. islay (474), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 20, 2008 12 oz. pour, on tap at Buster’s on 28th in Minneapolis on 5-19-08. Sour, musty, yeasty, sweet aroma of rotten apple and crabapple. Pours a cloudy red/amber with a small amount of beige head. Sour, chalky taste. Lemon and sour sucking candy, white vinegar, and champagne flavors. Some dryness. Bready finish. Interesting, hard to describe aftertaste. Sharp palate sensations. I really enjoyed this beer, but I’ll admit that I’m not a Flemish sour expert. On the negative side, it did give me some heartburn later on in the night. Zinister (1199), Houston, Texas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 20, 2008 Dark brown with brown head. Sweet balsamic vinegar nose with cherries poking through. Flavor is the same with acidic flavor that cuts through. Tart, oaky cherries with acid funk. JohnQPublic (387), Brooklyn, New York, USA

Aroma is sour, balsamic, with a hint of fruity sweetness. Taste is sour, biting, acidic, tart, but very clean and refreshing. Crisp, palate cleansing. Mouthfeel is dry, vigorous carbonation. New to the style, but a very good beer. brigg (215), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

Balsamic and vinegar aroma with cherry-like fruit. Flavor has that same acidic sweetness. Very, very tart - I love it. A round, soft, medium-to-full mouth-feel. I love flemish sours.
