Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
A blend of 1/3 young beer and 2/3 of beer aged 2 years in large oak vats. The more important proportion of oak matured beer contributes to its fruity taste, complexity and intensity. The finish is worthy of a great wine.

Pours a brown red color with lots of bubbles and a small brown head. Smells sour and like cherries. Taste like sour bread and yeast and a bit of cherries. Just ok not my cup of tea.

Bottle. Red/Brown coloured with a moderate, off-white head. Huge acetic aroma with some cherry fruit. Flavour was very sour with vinegar and oak to the fore, before a very long and dry finish. very enjoyable.

bottle. Red colour, small head. Aroma and flavours of vinegar dominate, with a fruity touch. Not my favourite style so far, I’ll try again.

Bottle. Small local gathering. Pours a clear red-brown colour with a short fizzy head. Sweetish aroma of vinegar with fruits (mainly cherries) and wood. The flavour is very sour with cherries, nice sweetness, wood (oak), dark fruits and some strawberry in the end. Sour dry well lasting fruity finish.

Bottle: Deep reddish amber coloured, clear, small foamy layer, complex sour, vinous aroma with traces of wood, balsamico, fruits and vanilla; strong sour, a bit adstringent flavour, medium bodied; very fruity (strawberries) and sour-adstringent finish, underpinned by some malt. Good, refreshing and complex.............

I thought this beer was extremely acidic, to the point of being not only cloying but to where it tasted like a salty clout on the tongue. I thought the sourness, which was beautiful, was totally overwhelmed by a tawdry, chintzy salty/vinager/salad dressing taste that seemed like a side effect of the beer and not at all an intended result. I was really looking forward to this beer, but the sheer lack of balance really turned me off to the point that I had to pour the beer out halfway through as it tasted like an apple fruit juice drink that someone sloshed around a bag of salt ’n vinegar bag of potato chips. I love sour’s but I was not a fan of this beer at all. It has a wonderful aroma and appearance, and the palate is nice and full with lively carbonation.

Looks like a cider, without much head. Lots of carbonation when you zip it though. Aroma is sour, with fermented fruits and a mild cheery note. Flavor i very nice, fresh acidic, mixed with a more complex tartness, and it was the perfect final beer at a 10 hour christmas lunch!.

Pasty, red and opaque appearance. Unripened mango, brown sugar, sweat, vinaigrette, and banana in the aroma; smooth, pleasing, and bold. Hint of wet burnt wood and mulch. Firey flavor of balsamic sourness and a rich, earthy pungency of artichoke hearts and ginger root; for the standard, certainly, but at the highest peak. Lights up with acetic acid toward the end, never surrendering its easy balance but subduing every new nuance into its cool, collected, but flamboyant construction. Lemon juice and mold rise slowly and assuredly in a somewhat tame and water tinted pulse. Not beyond expectation, certainly, but also not below them; awesome.
