COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
A blend of 1/3 young beer and 2/3 of beer aged 2 years in large oak vats. The more important proportion of oak matured beer contributes to its fruity taste, complexity and intensity. The finish is worthy of a great wine.

bottle and labels look oldfashioned and very conservative, but it’s good for such a noble drink. foam is week, colour of beer lis dark-brown with red. smells like homemade wine or liquer from cowberry and taste confirms that impression ... with hints of old oak. very fresh and very winey.

Fruits, berries, malts and a hint of balsamic vinegar in the aroma. Deep amber colour with a tan head. Medium sweet, light to medium bitter and medium sour. Light to medium body with a soft carbonation. Overall an interesting brew, quite refreshing and easy drinkable.

Fruits rouges, petit nez d'alcool. Plus sur que la rodenbach régulière, plus forte en alcool.

Wygląd: Ciemnomiedziane/brunatne, klarowne. Piana obfita, biała, stosunkowo trwała, ładny lacing.
Aromat: Aromat wyraźnie kwaśny, dziki, winny, wiśniowy, marcepan, lekko dębowa beczka i czekolada.
Smak: Kwaśne wiśnie, lekko dzikie, winne, cytrynowe, skórka cytryny, octowe. Finisz słodki, waniliowy, czekoladowy, trochę cierpki, dębowy. Goryczki praktycznie nie ma.
Odczucie: Średnie nasycenie CO2, musujące, ciało niskie.
Całość: Bardzo ciekawe, złożony sour ale. Wiśnia, dzikie, cierpki i dębowe.

Bottle. Best before 13 & 16. Brown/reddish with beige head. Head last longer with the fresher sample, which also has a lot more carbonation propelling the tart aromas into ones nose. Malt present in both but the oldest sample leaves a lot more in terms of port aromas and dark fruit, both have a tart flavour with some sweetness, but the stored bottle just leaves a more complex impression and is my favourite. Score for the fresh sample: 8-4-8-4-16. This rating is for the old sample. I would be able to drink more of the fresh beer.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Årgang 2013 og 2010. Syrlig i duft. Meget markant. Den gamle er mere maltet. Rigtig drjlig.

Pours a cloudy amber brown with a solid beige head that holds better than any sour I’ve seen. Cherry, balsamic, raspberry and oak on the nose and reflected perfectly on the tongue. Sour astringency that makes your mouth curl, but not to the point of discomfort. Dry finish and very drinkable for a sour. A fine beer

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2014 Drank this sat in the sun on De Panne Beach , pours very cloudy red, taste is tart with a carbonated tang, and hinted at fruitiness, seemed a little thin, maybe I had a duff bottle or I just need to try it again.......apparently hard to find so must buy a bottle while I’m still Here in Belgium

Piana drobnop?cherzykowa. Kolor ciemny zmetniony. Zapach odpowiadajacy zapewne stylowi i le?akowaniu w beczce. Kwaskowate w smaku, orze?wiaj?ce. Pozostawiaj?ce kwaskowaty posmak. Zdaje si? ?e wyst?puje w aromacie aceton.

Pours dark red brown, very cloudy and small tan head. Aroma is very grapes and cherries, oak is prevalent and this carries a strong wine aroma. Taste is immediately tart cherries and grapes with a transition into woodiness. Tartness lingers. Very nice
