Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
A blend of 1/3 young beer and 2/3 of beer aged 2 years in large oak vats. The more important proportion of oak matured beer contributes to its fruity taste, complexity and intensity. The finish is worthy of a great wine.

Brown with a huge head. Horsy, sour aroma. Tart and funky, not too acidic and balanced with sweetness.

Bottle... Poured a deep, ruby/brown with a khaki head. Souring vinegar, and tart fruit aroma. Dry palate. Flavors of tart and bitter fruits. An acidic and puckering finish.

Reddish brown with a medium-sized, fizzy light-brown head. Oaky, sour cherry aroma, moderately musty with a touch of granny apple tartness. Flavor is tart up front, notes of raspberries and green apple, turning a touch sweet and malty. Glassy, slightly metallic finish underneath woody flavors. Robust, musty and funky - pretty darn tasty.

Dark clear red color with a small beige head. Aroma and flavor of sour fruit and vinegar. Finishes with an acidic burn to the throat.

Wow, this is sour, pungent-smelling, nearly like stinky feet with cherries. The flavor is interesting - tart, and fruity, but not overpowering. The flavor is much more pleasant than the aroma. Peppery, woody and juicy cherries, rasberries too. Very complex beer.

Bought 2001 – Best before 08.2005 – Beautifully red with a brown shine, huge bubbles in a beautiful head that leaves beautiful laces; The nose is super huge, super deep, complex and GREAT, full of oak, loads of acidity, very vinous, some dried plum and a very little dust; The body is super complex, deep, of course with loads of sourness and a little well fitting sweetness; The finish is great too, it builds up amazingly well and lasts very, very long, it has a great sourness with lots of oak and vinous character. It ends of like a great young vintage port, huge and fresh, with sweet plum and black cherry. This is a fantastic beer. It has definitely won with ageing. UHHHH!!! I am so lucky, I still have a few of this gem in my secret-stash.

12 oz bottle ini new glarus flutes. A very brown color with some red and white head. Aroma is cherries, brett, very nice. Delicous tart, cherries, a little alc and green apple. Body is med with a little creamineness. This is fantastic, I’ve had it on tap and in 750 before but for some reason this is the best it’s ever been.

Fruity, sour aroma. Appearance is quite pleasant bging mostly reddish. Flavor is very sharp and fruity, cherries, with biting acidity. Am in the early learning stages of this style, but would definately like more.
