COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
A blend of 1/3 young beer and 2/3 of beer aged 2 years in large oak vats. The more important proportion of oak matured beer contributes to its fruity taste, complexity and intensity. The finish is worthy of a great wine.

Bottle from Real Ale Store, Newark. Deep Ruby colour with a pale beige head. Light fruity aroma. Taste sour and a light sweet. Very drinkable.

Some strange mix and color leveling between brown, orange and red , with small brown fast disappearing head. Smell is somewhere between red wine and Belgian ale. When you start drinking it you expect that wine like sourness will kick you. But the sourness is well balanced with fruity and sugar sweetness. Body is light to medium with nice lasting light wine sourness in aftertaste. I was expecting richer flavor. This is my first sour so, ATM I am not big sour connoisseur, but this one is some nice mix of sour and Belgian ale.

Pours reddish/amberish medium brown. Short lived head. Nose: Fruity with Seville orange, quince and lemon. Then barnyard and hay. Palate: Rich, mouth filling presence, sweet & sour, medium light bodied. Still the taste is "everywhere"; in the fruity attack, in the immediately following sourness, then in the matching sweetness, in the slightly oaky and very mature(d) middle taste before it all ends in the long, sour and very appetising aftertaste. Great beer!!! A wine lover’s beer. Worked very well with a slow cooked piece of braising steak.

Bubblegum, cherry, and sour yeast aroma. Dark ruby cola brown. Immediate bite of vinegar with a very woody earthy wipe of the palate following. Again this style is just not for me. Praised as one of the best and it?s just another sour Flemish brew for me. Odd fruitiness comes out in the finish vaguely pomegranite or mango. It?s good but I won?t rush to have it again if I ever do.

Draft at Pinthouse Pizza. Opaque, dark brown with a reddish tinge. beige head. Aroma is tart, vinous, sour cherry, and funky. Taste is sour cherry, red wine, and dark fruit with a dash of vinegar. A nice mixture of sweetness and tartness. Excellent.

Aroma: fruity, sour, a little funky; Appearance: dark ruby red with tiny bubbles that ring the glass; Taste: tart, sour yet balanced; sweet, cherry notes; Palate: heavy body, long sweet/tart finish; Overall: 2nd favorite sour behind the sour we tried in Belgium. Would be good dinner drink instead of wine.

Kolor : Burgundowy.
Fantastyczne beczkowe, drewniane nuty i kremowa faktura. Doskonale zbalansowane, owocowe, słodko-kwaśne. Goryczka niska o owocowej aurze. Można wiele o tym piwie pisać. Jedno jest pewne - jest genialne!
Wysycenie: Średnie.
Podsumowanie:
Aksamitne odczucie w ustach. Długi, owocowy finisz. Absolutnie genialne!

Bottle 0,33 I’m actually sorry that I opened this one on a cold day. It’s definitely something I would much more enjoy on a warm one. Nevertheless it’s a beautiful beer that pours clear brownish red with small and quickly diminishing head. On the nose I would have never guessed that this is a beer. Wine-like aromas of sour cherries, wood and a lot of freshness(read acids). Medium bodied with light sweetness and heavy (but nice) sourness.

Bottle. Aroma of dark fruits, oak and vinegar. The flavour is heavy sour. Lingering taste of redwine vinegar. The body is medium and the texture is sticky. Average carbonation. Almost like a red wine.
