COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
A blend of 1/3 young beer and 2/3 of beer aged 2 years in large oak vats. The more important proportion of oak matured beer contributes to its fruity taste, complexity and intensity. The finish is worthy of a great wine.

Really really good. Clean and oaky. It opens up with a little funk on the palate. Great beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle to glass. Pours a brownish reddish color with a faint light tan head. Aroma is a pleasant mix of light tartness, flanders sour character, some cherry fruits. Flavor is a well balanced sweet and tart, although I’d probably like it a little more on the tart end. Overall a very nice beer.

Cloudy dark brown color, small to medium sized off-white head. Aroma, wow. Liquor candy (Griotte), chocolate, wooden barrel (oak), plum, cherry, brown sugar, red wine. Taste is extremely sour, with dominant notes of grapes, and even more cherry. Lively carbonation, creamy texture, thin to medium body. Long sour finish. This one is extremely complex, not everyday beer, but quite unique and enjoyable.

Pours a dark brown glass of beer. It is a fruity beer with a strong overruling sour aroma.Very good within it’s own style but I personally start to get bored with sour beers after a couple of sips and I’m afraid the Rodenbach Grand Cru was no exception.

375ml boqiebiere.

Bottle of 33cl, in a Rodenbach glass; from the fridge. The aroma is vinegar, with a beautiful brown red appearance and a chocolate brown head. The taste is overhelmed by a sour apple/oak taste that is very nice indeed. Palate is a lil bit float. Great beer ! Try it, love it !

Bottle, side by side with la folie. Deep Amber, light brown head, great lace. Aroma bourbon, brown sugar, green apples. Taste is green apples, brown sugar, faint oak, some spice. Palate is light, carbonation very nice. Finish is sour, slightly bitter. Sorry, but this just kills la folie.
