Poured a medium brown with reddish hues. Aroma was of sourness, cherries, fruity and a little yeast. Flavor was a little tart and sour. Not much acidity or excessive sweetness which was good. Pretty good sour that i enjoyed a lot.

Pours dark red with a small of white head. Nose is full of sweetened red fruits, cherries and raspberries mainly(think berry compote). Palate is chock full of liquered morello cherries with substantial tart dryness on the finish. A killer dessert beer!!

Pours a dark red with a decent head. Flavor is full of tartness, with a symphony of medium malts and dark fruits just behind it. Really a great beer, on par with Duchess de Borgogne, one of my favorite beers. If you like sour ales, you have to try this one.

11.2 oz bottle-cloudy red color w/a very slight white head & good lacing. Sour cherry aroma. Sour, tart flavor of cherries, currents, & dark fruit. This one was a little intense; I wouldn’t drink it all the time, but it was a nice change of pace. NIce after dinner sipper. Long carbonated finish.

On tap at Luka’s in Oakland. Pours a dark, murky red with a small off-white head. Aroma of sour, oak, cherries, some vanilla and caramel as well. Taste is sour at first and a bit sweet and watery in the finish. Currants and sour cherries. Odd mouthfeel of syrupyness with some fizz.
