A blend of 1/3 young beer and 2/3 of beer aged 2 years in large oak vats. The more important proportion of oak matured beer contributes to its fruity taste, complexity and intensity. The finish is worthy of a great wine.

Duped into thinking it was a typical Belgian Strong at a tasting -- ended up being a drain pour. Sour and beer don’t mix for me. Could think of one descriptive word - vinegar.

330ml bottle at Delirium Cafe in Brussels. Cloudy amber-brown body, small beige foam. Aroma of aged vinegar, sour cherries, barrel, apples. Taste is equally delicious, sour cherries, apple vinegar, grapes, brown sugar, a touch of lemons. A bit oily. World class.

Hazy reddish brown. Nearly no foam. Looks like a murky milk coffee. Aroma of sour cherries, lots of prunes. Sour, astringent but balanced by a sufficient but low sweetness. Low carbonation. Very interesting.

Foam: almost no. Colour: red-brown. Aroma: nice vine sour, like oak aged port wine, some malt too. Taste: very unique put together sour and sweet taste, some notes of strawberries, tropical fruits like mango or passion fruits mixed together with balance of sweet, sour/tartness/bitterness, great beer for summer sure, hard to describe the complexity of it.

Taste is mainly sour cherries, a slight bit of vinegar as well, but the tartness is offset by a sweetness. Good beer.

Corpo medio e carbonazione media.
