UPDATED: OCT 15, 2009 Draft at The Map Room. One of those beers popular in my beer geek circle, but that I kept missing... but NOT on Belgian Beer Monday! A little foam shows around the edge of a reddish brown beer. Smell of red wine and strawberries. Very sippable like a wine. Sourness would come across as intense, but it still manages to go down easily. Like a sour cherry soda. But that, I mean I like it.

Red’sih brown with low beige head.
Vinegar nose with red fruits and wood.
Taste is balsamico, wood, and cherries.
Some nail polish-like notes. Tart but ends with a hint of sweetness.
Lovely brew. A sort of beginners sour.

Reddish pout, small head with slight lacing. Aroma is all vinegar and not very appetizing. Taste is slightly vinegary with some sour cherries. Mouth feel is slightly painful. Sourness lingers with every sip.

Dark brown colour. Sour, vinegar aroma. Sweet vinegar taste. A great beer and very refreshing!

Draft. Pours dark brown with creamy beige head; good retention and some lacing. Aroma is vinegar, sour fruit, vanilla, and oak. Flavor matches the nose; sweet malt forward with dark fruit esters and no noticeable hops; sweet finish. Medium body, carbonation and warmth.

Doftar rom-russin och typ jäst. Smakar det samma fast med en rejäl dos syra. Jag uppskattade smakspektrat men denna öltyp är inte riktigt min kopp te (ännu).

pours very dark. Big nose and strong complex balance. Fruit notes from beginning to the long slow cherry finish. Plum, sour, smooth are the three strongest words for the brew. Very nice.

Bouteille 33cL. Nez de cerises avec un cote sure et acide. Semblable en bouche: cerises et framboises avec un cote vinaigre. Interessant.

Sour tones of grape some kriekyness. Ok beer not more. Too much perfume for my taste
